Wolf R. Schwippert, studied laws at the Law School of Bonn University, where he already specialized on the laws of Arab states. His apprenticeship was performed in North-Rhine Westphalia, in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne. In 1991 he was admitted to the bar of the Regional Court of Bonn. After an initial time practicing in a law firm with offices in Bonn, Berlin and Cologne, he joined Osama S. Al-Yamani Law Office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in February 1992.

He was heading the European Section of that law firm, was chairman of the German Business Circle in Jeddah and officially appointed lawyer of the Austrian Embassy in Riyadh until he returned to Germany in the year 2000, where he relocated in the city of Berlin and established Schwippert Law Office, being a member of the bar of the Regional Court of Berlin. For his services in Saudi Arabia he had been awarded with the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in May 2001.

He is a member of the Board of GHORFA - Arab German Chamber of Commerce and Industry e.V., Berlin since 2002, as well as a member of the extended board of directors of the DAFG-German Arab Friendship Association e.V. founding member of the DPW German Palestinian Business Council e.V., board member of the association Friends of Yemen e.V. as well as member of various organizations relating to Arab cultural affairs.
